This qualification equips students with the practical skills and knowledge needed to lead and manage teams effectively across various industries. Graduates develop initiative, judgement, and problem-solving abilities to plan, organise, and monitor both their own work and that of others.
Career opportunities include roles such as Team Leader, Business Manager, Operations Supervisor, and other leadership positions.
Graduates may continue their studies with the BSB60420 – Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management or transition into higher education in leadership and management.

Students typically range between 18–35 years old and come from diverse international backgrounds. Many speak English as a second language but meet the entry requirements for academic success. Credit or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is available for those with relevant experience.
The program is delivered face-to-face in classrooms with structured self-study components.
Duration: 52 weeks (40 weeks of training across 4 terms + 12 weeks of holidays)
