This qualification reflects the role of skilled tradespeople in the cabinet making and timber technology industry. Graduates gain hands-on skills to manufacture and install furniture, cabinetry, and other timber products used in domestic and commercial applications.
The course provides expertise in hand and power tool use, measuring and cutting, interpreting technical drawings, computer-aided design, and installation techniques.
Career Pathways:
Credit and/or RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) is available for students with existing industry skills or experience, potentially reducing course duration.

To achieve this qualification, students must complete 25 units in total — 8 core units and 17 elective units.
